We are embarking on a huge program of global business transformation enabled by the implementation of a new global technology solution.  The delivery and embedding of this technology solution across our highly successful and highly de-centralized business will change the way we work forever, enabling greater data insight, simplification of processes and ways of working and creating greater collaboration across the business.    PurposeThe role of the Technical Data Specialist is to ensure all aspects of the Twinings Ovo master data governance (MDG) platform is configured to a high standard, resulting in the smooth and consistent running of processes that co-ordinate master data maintenance in the global ERP system.This will involve the creation of on-line forms that users will interactive with in order to supply, review and approve data change requests, as well as workflows that will automatically orchestrate required stakeholders according to the agreed business process. ScopeWill require some flexibility in working hours aligned with a global role.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Development of the TwO MDG platform in line with business requirements, including workflows, digital forms, connections to data sources and underlying database structure
• Technical Development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) scripts to configure automation of key master data object loads into SAP
• Technical development and integration of reference master data sets to support the MDG platform
• Key stakeholder engagement to understand process requirements and translation into a digital solution
• Support with the TwO longer-term strategy around real-time automation of master data objects between SAP and the MDG platform
• Development of integration points between TwO MDG platform and other key line of business systems, e.g., SalesForce, SpecPage
• Creation of Excel data collection forms to support the MDG platform for creation/change of secondary master data objects in SAP
• Assessment and potential implementation of change requests to MDG platform as the Optimus program progresses
• Analysis of the overall MDG solution with recommendations for continuous improvement
• Creation of basic master data reports to facilitate data quality audits
• Configuration of the TwO data quality tool

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a digital application configuration, development/maintenance role 
• Experience with RPA tools (eg Winshuttle)
• Hands on experience with developing applications in Business Process Automation tools (e.g. K2/Nintex, MS Power Apps, SAP MDG) 
• Experience using SQL technologies, including understanding of database design, and creation of schemas, tables, views, stored procedures 
• Experience with integrating systems to move and consume data, (e.g. REST and webservice definition file structure) 
• Ability to understand, explain and present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences 
• Experience with SAP / master data processes (desirable) 
• Experience working for a multinational organisation and working with colleagues internationally and demonstrated mobility 
• Experience working in a team onshore and offshore
• Demonstrated ability to deliver continuous improvement initiatives 
• Good communication skills
