Senior Specialist Marketing Analytics

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Our office in Riga, Latvia or Oslo, Norway

As a member of the Global Data & Analytics Team, the Senior Specialist Marketing Analytics is an everyday partner with our central and local Marketing teams, Digital Experience, Loyalty, Category teams as well as our Media Agency. This is a unique opportunity to work on a growing, exciting capability within a large organization.

The Senior Specialist Marketing Analytics is responsible for delivering advanced analytics and insights that drive business results and marketing excellence. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to independently deliver all aspects of project work, including interpreting business questions and desired outcomes, selecting the appropriate methodology, data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, model building, and creation of polished deliverables that are suitable for internal and external presentation.

We are looking for an individual who is a proven problem solver with exceptional critical thinking ability. The candidate should have a high sense of curiosity and be comfortable with ambiguity when faced with a difficult challenge. Additionally, the candidate should possess the abilities to collaborate with others simply and effectively communicate complex concepts with a non-technical audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate performance of various marketing campaigns, that utilize both digital as well as traditional marketing channels.

  • Support teams with actionable insights during the budgeting and campaign planning process.

  • Design and evaluate relevant in-market experiments.

  • Drive and coordinate advanced analytics projects such as MMM.

  • Collect, consolidate and analyze data from multiple marketing-related sources.

  • Support projects at the cross-section of Digital and Marketing.

  • Collaborate with Insights team to deliver relevant marketing research.

  • Be an advocate for a data-driven culture among the stakeholders.

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Experience with BI and analytical tools (Power BI, Excel, SQL).

  • Experience within a statistical analysis language (e.g. R, Python).

  • Familiarity with advanced modelling and attribution techniques.

  • Experience with Digital Marketing tools (Google Analytics, Campaign Managers).

  • Experience building out and leading teams.

Qualifications And Experience

  • A higher degree in an analytical discipline like Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar.

  • 3+ years of experience delivering actionable insights based on data.

  • Work experience within Marketing and Media as well as Retail is a plus.
