ABOUT THE ROLE

Purpose:
Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning and AI tools to drive innovation and improve decision-making within our data-driven ecosystem. The role focuses on designing scalable AI models and tools that enhance analytics capabilities across key business areas and improve operational efficiency.

Role and Responsibilities:

AI Tool Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and AI tools that enhance data processing, predictive analytics, and decision support systems.

Model Optimization: Continuously improve model accuracy, performance, and scalability, utilizing advanced machine learning techniques and cutting-edge AI methodologies.

Integration and Automation: Collaborate with data engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing data infrastructure and automate processes, reducing manual workload and increasing efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units, product teams, and stakeholders to align AI developments with business needs, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable, and impactful.

Performance Monitoring: Implement robust performance monitoring systems for AI models, ensuring accuracy and reliability while adapting to changing data inputs and business requirements.

Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, exploring opportunities to introduce new techniques and technologies that drive business growth.

Ethics and Compliance: Ensure AI tools and models adhere to ethical guidelines, data privacy standards, and compliance regulations.

Key Outputs:

  • Development of robust AI tools that enhance data analytics capabilities and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Creation of scalable machine learning models that integrate with existing data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, and cloud-based systems.
  • Continuous improvement processes for model validation, testing, and deployment.
  • Effective communication of AI-driven insights and recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in machine learning, AI tool development, or a related analytical field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, with a strong understanding of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data processing technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize complex machine learning models, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for data, machine learning, and AI-driven problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with a history of leading projects involving multiple departments and geographic regions.
  • Master’s degree in machine learning, AI, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data governance, ethics, and compliance in AI is preferred.
