Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

Dematic is seeking a Senior Software/Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps/MLOps team. In this role, you will collaborate with local and global team members in an agile development and continuous delivery environment. You will engage in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including continuous integration and delivery. Your responsibilities will include implementing pipelines, debugging existing issues, supporting other scrum teams with DevOps/MLOps challenges, and managing releases. Additionally, you will work extensively with cloud technologies for provisioning, deployment, and troubleshooting cloud resources.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $X-Y at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. 

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• Complete lifecycle responsibility of CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Software that runs in GCP and Azure
• Supporting and setting up standards for Cloud Applications - For Setting up new pipeline, governance policies, IaC, monitoring, alerts and backup/restore
• Support Local developers’ deployments
• Support release management
• Support all development teams for CI/CD issues
• Ability to work in a Collaborative agile environment with development, product, and QA teams
• Mentor and pair with team members on key initiatives
• Provide cross-functional DevOps support for organizational initiatives
• Architecting GCP solutions that also supports on-prem deployments
• Work on Proof of Concept for new technologies to support the CICD process
• Technical leadership and Managing Key Initiatives
• Work on build pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, Bash, Python, etc.
• Develop and deploy IaC pipelines

What We are Looking For: : 

• Masters in Computer Science and 2 years of work experience as a CICD (DevOps) Engineer or Bachelors in Computer Science and 5 years of work experience as a CICD (DevOps) Engineer.
• Overall 7+ Experience in GCP / Azure Cloud design concepts (e.g. Regions, Availability Zones, NSG, VPN, VPC, Subnets, Private/Service end points, Firewall setup)
• 7+ years Hands on experience with setup of Gitlab or Jenkins CI/CD pipeline with Terraform. bash scripts/Python, Groovy.
• 5+ years experience with administration and maintenance of Kubernetes Clusters with backup and blue green deployment strategies
• 5+ years Docker container experience and working with tools and platforms such as -  GCR/Artifact Registry, Jfrog Artifactory, deployment using TF, troubleshooting
• 4+ Experience with maintenance in Windows or Linux Virtual machines
• 5+ on Experience in scripting utility tools for task automation with bash shell or python
• 5+ years hands on experience working with Terraform, Ansible, Helm
• Hands on experience in working with a monitoring tool like Datadog, Grafana/Loki/Prometheus for alert setup
• Hands on experience deploying Machine Learning/AI models to GCP (or other cloud platforms)
• Knowledge of frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.
• Experience in using popular MLOps frameworks like Kubeflow, MLFlow, and DataRobot
• Experience in administrating Jenkins or Gitlab in a cloud environment
• Hands on Experience in setting up serverless environment like serverless functions, API Management, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience working on architecture that involves Edge computing and low latency requirements between edge and cloud
• Solutions involving wide range of GCP resources
• Good understanding and experience implementing security measure for cloud-based deployments
• Experience with cost optimization for different deployment architectures
• Monitoring and operational experience
