• Innovate with Algorithms: Dive into the world of cutting-edge technology by developing groundbreaking algorithms and models that will enhance our products and elevate the hiring experience!

• Uncover Insights: Use your analytical skills to extract and analyze rich datasets from HireVue, focusing on human interactions and decision-making. Your discoveries will drive meaningful improvements!

• Create Success Metrics: Take the lead in formulating success metrics and crafting algorithms for entirely new products, paving the way for innovative solutions in the hiring landscape.

• Experiment and Explore: Design and execute exciting experiments to test new product ideas, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and shaping the future of hiring!

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• 2+ years of Data Science work experience

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (MS or PhD preferred) - Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, etc. 

• Experience with standard Machine Learning algorithms, including model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning

• Experience with algorithmic fairness is a plus

• Familiarity with recommender systems preferred

• Proficiency with novel NLP techniques (embedding models)

• Must program in a scripting language such as Python. Familiarity with machine learning Python libraries like numpy, scikit, and pandas is required.

• Able to collaborate with the HireVue Industrial-Organizational Psychology team to perform novel research to remain pioneers in hiring technology

• Able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses

• Able to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

This position is a work-from-home role. The individual in this role must be able to work from home in an environment free from distractions, where they can attend virtual video meetings.

Our organization has implemented a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policy, HireVue uses Google User Enrollment, which ensures personal apps and data are kept separate from work apps and data should you choose to use your personal device for work purposes.
