As a Data Analyst with HTV Charlotte, you will play a crucial role in our organization by collecting, reporting, and analyzing data to uncover valuable insights, patterns, and trends. Your primary responsibility will be to provide actionable information to support data-driven decision-making and to recommend innovative business solutions. You will work with various data sources, tools, and technologies to transform raw data into valuable knowledge that drives our company's success. You will report to the Director of Ad Technical Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, consolidate, and maintain data from multiple sources, both internal and external, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that can provide valuable insights
  • Use statistical and data analysis techniques to extract meaningful information from raw data
  • Develop and apply data models and algorithms to aid in decision-making
  • Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that effectively communicate data findings to various stakeholders timely and accurately
  • Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present data in an understandable and visually appealing manner, including graphs, charts, and other visual representation
  • Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that can drive business strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging data analysis technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing data collection
  • Monitor and maintain data quality, identifying and addressing data inconsistencies or inaccuracies, cleansing as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, preferred. A master’s degree is a plus
  • One to three years’ experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
  • Experience in data visualization and reporting tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data findings in a clear and understandable manner
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • This role may involve occasional remote work, depending on project requirements
  • This position may require occasional travel to gather data or meet with clients or partners
  • Related military experience will be considered
