Senior Data Quality Analyst

Role Overview:

As a Senior Data Quality Engineer of Big Data on Cloud reporting into Data Quality Manager of Data & Analytics team, the focus of this position is to understand the business, product, data and ensure quality of the data elements being used for further analysis.

This is a remote position; however you may be required to be onsite at our Bangalore office on as-needed basis.

About the Role:

• You will understand the product, business and data processes.
• You will perform data quality analysis, build quality metrics around data pipelines and data in the cloud, present them visually helping bring value to the data analysis.
• You will roll out the guidelines of the governance framework, automate data quality validation rules and bring out anomalies.
• You will report to the Data Quality Manager.
• You will work with global teams from data analytics, analysts, engineering and leadership to ensure metadata management and data governance.

About You:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in data quality analysis or data warehouse or data cloud environment. 
• You have experience working on important and main data quality automation tasks and Data Quality Assurance
• You are well versed with Python/SQL.
• You have experience working on data pipelines in a cloud environment – AWS, Databricks. You are passionate about working with data, have some statistical or data analysis background. 
• You present the insights and experience from data quality automation projects or compliance projects.
• You are ready to work with global teams.
