Introduction

Within ASML, the Customer Support (CS) group is responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations. One of the segments within CS is DUV. Within this segment the value stream Upgrades, Install & Relocations (UIR) is responsible for preparing and executing complex upgrades and relocations and supports installations on ASML systems. The Planning team within CS DUV UIR is responsible for slot planning & manpower scheduling to ensure the correctly skilled resources are in place to execute Upgrades, Installs and Re-location activities of ASML machines worldwide.

Your assignment

The CS DUV UIR Planning team aims to continuously improve and support our stakeholders. One of the areas we want to focus more on is reporting. By creating useful reporting from our large sets of data, we can provide our stakeholders with valuable information and make our own work more efficient. During this assignment you will:

  • Create new manpower planning related reporting (using e.g. MS PowerBI, TIBCO Spotfire), translating big sets of data into useful views.

  • Analyze Planning Process optimization possibilities.

During a possible interview, the assignment can be tweaked based on your interests and skills.

Your profile

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a master student in a field related to Data Analytics, Data Science or Business Administration;

  • Have proven experience with PowerBI and/or Spotfire;

  • Possess strong analytical skills and have a structured and accurate way of working;

  • Are motivated, pro-active, self-driven and flexible;

  • Have good English language skills, both verbal and written.

This is a master apprentice internship or graduation project for minimum 6 months, 4 days per week (3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of January 2025 onwards.

Other requirements you need to meet:

  • You are enrolled as as student at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;

  • In case of a voluntary internship, your university is willing to sign all relevant documents in order to perform the internship (i.e., for non-EU citizens, the Nuffic agreement).

  • You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, please include in your CV/motivation letter willingness to relocate.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
