We at ASML produce some of the most technically advanced equipment in the world, and in the process generate terabytes of data. This data is vital in analyzing and improving the performance of our products and processes. To gain valuable insight from this data, we develop state of the art reports and analytics to provide the right information to the right people at the right time. Role and responsibilities

The Data analyst drives business impact by creating state-of-the-art reports, data models and analysis and comes with new insights and recommendations for the Integral Field Product Planning department. He/she ensures planning & forecasting input data is on time and accurate and our reports are on time and on quality.

As Data analyst, your role includes:

  • Solve business questions through creation of data solutions, dashboards and data visualizations that enable decision making
  • Develop, implement, and maintain state-of-the art planning reports and dashboards for our stakeholders
  • Ensure availability and reliability of data for field planning & forecasting, reporting, analytics and decision-making
  • Translate/refine requirements, develop data model and visualize data into information that can be used to take appropriate action
  • Work in a team of enthusiastic young professionals, skilled in report and dashboard building, advanced analytics (e.g. process mining) and process automation
  • Work proactively with other stakeholders, e.g. IT and other planning departments
  • Pro-actively  propose and implement efficiency improvements
  • Continuously learn about latest reporting and business analytics developments

Education and experience

  • Relevant Bachelor/Master degree, or equivalent level of thinking in the field of e.g. Information/Engineering Technology, Data Science or Industrial Engineering with affinity for Planning / Supply Chain Management
  • 2-5 years relevant experience in a big multinational company (industry or consultancy), ideally with Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, or Engineering background
  • Proficient knowledge of analytics tooling (e.g. Spotfire, Power BI, KNIME, Alteryx)
  • Azure, Databricks, Datafactory, SQL experience / certifications is a plus
  • Experience with SAP ECC, SAP BW/HANA is a plus
  • Experience in Agile way of working is a plus
  • Knowledge in (PL)SQL, Python, or R is a plus

The IFPP Data & Reporting team is part of the Planning & Delivery (P&D) department. P&D combines all planning activities across ASML, bringing demand and supply perspectives close together. P&D is the neutral party within ASML that is responsible for creating the stretched and rational plan for the entire supply chain. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality leads to significant increase of the company’s activities at customer premises. As a result, we manage an increasingly complex global supply chain network with tens of thousands of unique spare parts and tools with differentiated and affordable state-of-art supply chain concepts. Our workforce drives the planning of this global supply chain network to deliver value for our customers, while optimizing our footprint and capital investments.
