ARDIAN US LLC seeks a Lead Data Scientist for its New York, NY location.

Duties: Design data analysis reports using statistical methods and review appropriate dashboards for business users as prepared by junior data scientists.Monitor data consistency in relation with business knowledge, between different databases and applications, to avoid errors and redundancyEnsure the continuous improvement of existing analysis and models and review scripts and code optimization.Guide selection of technical solutions to optimize technical, business and efforts/impact perspectivesSource and build training data and ensure continuous improvement of the modelsAnticipate model challenges, weaknesses and future developmentsCoordinate development teams in the industrialization of machine learning and statistical modelsTake part in controls during production launches (testing)Define management rules for model maintenance (monitoring)Lead workshops to convey internal needs and assist operational teams in the implementation of their projects.Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand business challenges and opportunities, and translate them into data science initiatives.Manage end-to-end data science projects, from problem formulation and data collection to model development, validation, deployment, and ongoing monitoringCommunicate data results and solutions to senior business team members in an efficient and understandable mannerDetermine and set administration procedures and best practicesMonitor content and relevant new technologies for the team and projects (data collection, data science software solutions and processing platforms)Research, experiment and propose new modeling and data science methodsMonitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and machine learning to drive innovation within the team.Identify opportunities to enhance data quality, integrity, and security, and collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure the availability of clean and well-structured data.Ensure transmission of best practices among the teamDetermine, propose and strategize system improvements and service improvement solutions (clustering, backups, monitoring, audit)Contribute to and update internal policies and procedures. Requires a Master's or higher degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Management Science & Engineering or a related field data science, machine learning, and advanced analytics forExperience must include: d, data analysis, and statistical modeling. 40 hours/week.
