OUR NEW SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER (Python)

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will get to work on innovative Cloud-based software with the goal of full-scale autonomy for our Customers when operating their Public Cloud environments. To achieve this we are aiming to build an ecosystem that will be composed of core capabilities as foundation with service specific areas focusing on different value propositions of our product portfolio. Ensuring all building blocks work together and scale as we grow are crucial elements of focus for this role.

The tech stack is composed of React frontend, distributed backend microservices built with .NET/C# and Python, backed up by data engineering components.

The primary focus of this role will be on the Python based backend domain with the responsibility for providing technical leadership and mentorship to other team members and contributing to the development of new capabilities within the Python ecosystem.

SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs to power frontend applications
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components
• Contribute to the development process, adhering to best practices for coding, testing, source control, and CI/CD pipelines
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Python technologies and industry trends
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members

SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:  

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and related frameworks (Django, Flask)
• Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs
• Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP) for developing and deploying backend applications
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, and configuration management
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

It would be awesome, if you have:  

• Understanding of AI and Machine Learning  
• Experience in building and supporting complex high-concurrency SaaS solutions  
• Solid knowledge of database technologies (RDBMS and NoSQL)  
• Familiarity with some data engineering tools is a plus: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, dbt, etc.
