Wealth Credit Management (WCM) provides integrated end to end credit underwriting, transaction and portfolio management in partnership with all the origination businesses of the Private Bank and Wealth Management of Citi. DMT will be responsible for key aspects for data from definition to data capture, governance and regulatory reporting.   The team will service as the primary contact for all internal and external audit queries as well as play a critical role in representing LPTM team in various control forum related to Data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze the data lineage and data transformation in internal downstream data aggregators viz: Optima / Reg insight / Olympus / Genesis with a focus to ensure upstream data is flowing accurately.
  • Propose recommendations to streamline data flow, for new enhancements write Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Review and Approve Functional Requirements Documents, and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UATs) focused on downstream data aggregators. Establish project plans, and track and communicate progress by working closely with the downstream technology groups as needed,
  • Support data tracing initiative for Basel Committee of Banking Supervision (BCBS) 239 compliant key management reports, FRY 14 Schedule H reports and other Regulatory reports. Perform deep dive on the discrepancies and data quality issues.
  • Perform deep dive on data quality issues specifically stemming from internal downstream data aggregators viz: Optima / Reg insight / Olympus to review the data transformation logic and drive the issues to closure.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve process efficiencies, technological automation, and functionalities within data and downstream reporting infrastructure. Work closely with multiple stakeholders viz: risk and Under Writers, Finance, and Technology teams to achieve the same.
  • Participate in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the senior managements, closely working with regional product managers and operations
  • Contribute to projects and provide valuable input with various working groups created to enhance efficiency in Data Capture and improve Data Quality
  • Constantly improve Data Capture processes, controls and reduce downstream data transformation related issues across loan lifecycle
  • Contribute to and support the strategic vision for this team by enabling the implementation roadmap to execute accordingly.
