We are looking for a Robotics Engineer Manager for Isaac Robotics Applications and Services for AI-enabled Robots. Physical AI is becoming more ubiquitous in real-world applications. Today, robots are expected to handle increasingly sophisticated tasks in a wide range of environments, from industrial facilities to public spaces. NVIDIA is a pioneer in revolutionizing AI & Robotics, and we are seeking an experienced and accomplished full stack robotics lead for our Isaac robotics applications and services team. The team plays a pivotal role in advancing the capabilities of mobile robots, through bespoke applications and services, enabling them to complete sophisticated tasks across diverse environments using ground breaking machine learning solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define the roadmap for the building reference robotics applications and services, utilizing NVIDIA technology such as NIMs, and showcasing world-class reference solutions to customers and platform partners.

  • Drive the architecture, integration and designs of reference applications and services, and support the development of the component products used in the applications.

  • Collaborate & support other Isaac teams e.g. simulation, hardware and SQA to deploy, validate, and extend the capabilities & applications on physical robots and cloud as well as on at-scale simulations and workflows.

  • Supervise and support the team via hands-on involvement in design and code reviews (C++, Python, Pytorch and NVIDIA tools).

  • Define deliveries and work packages, and help synchronize the missions and dependencies across the other teams.

  • Mentor and supervise a team of robotics engineers

What we need to see:

  • At least 5 overall years of relevant proven full stack robotics integration experience

  • At least 3 years of experience with managing a robotics team

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • Hands-on experience with real-time autonomous system project (robotics, autonomous driving etc)

  • Experience in architecting and deploying innovative and capable robotics and machine learning based applications in embedded platforms and cloud services.

  • Experience with managing projects and teams of similar nature and challenge

  • Excellent communication, analysis and problem solving skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Background with techniques in integration of robotics and service technologies, in large scale simulation, edge platforms, etc.

  • Prior experience shipping autonomous robots products, and services.

The base salary range is 220,000 USD - 419,750 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
