The Position

As part of our team, you'll dive into the fascinating world of data engineering and data analytics, harnessing the power of data to unlock insights that drive decision-making and foster business transformation. Our dedication to leveraging data doesn't just stop at improving processes; it's about building a smarter, more agile operation that stays ahead of the curve. 

This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, hybrid.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide extensive insights into the provision, support and preparation of data from our Product Care area, among others, with regard to supply, quality and engineering

  • You create concepts and drafts for dashboards and apps and conduct feasibility studies.

  • You drive and support the creation of dashboards, apps and reports in Appsheet and Tableau

  • You are in close contact with our data engineers who provide the necessary data and internal BI supporting teams

  • You research new methods and methodologies as well as apply scientific research techniques to analyze data, using e.g. predictive analytics

  • Define and assess digital standards for the organization

  • Initiate and drive digitization projects and AI/ML initiatives

  • You support the creation of meaningful presentations

Who You Are

 

You are enrolled or have completed your Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence within the last 12 months and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Furthermore you are

  • You have very good analytical skills and a high level of problem-solving competence

  • First experiences in data preparation and analysis as well as the willingness to work independently

  • You are creative and enjoy bringing new ideas into the team

  • You have German and English language skills at C1 level 

  • You have outstanding communication skills

  

Technical details:

The start date for the internship is March 2025 with a duration of 12 months. 

Part-time employment is possible.

If required, it is unfortunately not possible to write a thesis during the internship.

The application deadline is November 11th. Interviews will take place in late November and early December.
