The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a Vice President- Information Advantage Practice Leader at our Leidos Headquarters in Reston, VA.

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Leidos Information Advantage Practice Vice President, you’ll be responsible for shaping our internal and external information advantage strategy for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Automation, and Analytics ensuring seamless execution of efforts supporting current and new clients. Your consultative approach will guide our clients toward innovative solutions, enhancing their business operations and digital transformation journey.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
No initial clearance is required to start; however, you must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. (US Citizenship required)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a robust information advantage strategy aligned with customer goals and objectives.
  • Identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in information advantage, particularly in data governance, data management, data visualization, AI governance, ML models, robotic process automation (RPA), and/or data analytics.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define the vision and roadmap for the Information Advantage Practice.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data analysts, architects, and engineers.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the practice.
  • Ensure team members have the necessary resources and support to excel.

Client Engagement:

  • Engage with clients to understand their information/data needs and challenges.
  • Provide thought leadership, advising on information advantage including data governance and management, competitive intelligence, and research and development.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.

Solution Development:

  • Design and architect trusted, and ethical information advantage solutions based on industry standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend data governance policies, data analytics insights, competitive intelligence dynamics, large language models (LLMs), and risk management practices for specific use cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative information advantage offerings.

Practice Growth:

  • Drive revenue growth by expanding our information advantage portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust the practice strategy accordingly.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes for information/data projects.
  • Mitigate risks related to data analytics and competitive intelligence implementations.

Thought Leadership and Training:

  • Stay informed about information advantage industry advancements and certifications.
  • Conduct internal training sessions to enhance team members’ skills.
  • Participate in industry conferences and share insights with the community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience (at least 15 years) in Information Advantage or related technology (Data Management, Business Intelligence, or Enterprise Architecture)
  • Proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their AI/ML services and solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance and management, ML algorithms, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), or large language models (LLMs).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), AWS Certified Machine Learning, Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate are a plus.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $190,400.00 - $306,000.00
