ABOUT THIS JOB

  • We are seeking a Sr Data Engineer to join the Campaign Analytics team. In Campaign Analytics, we develop products that measure, analyze, and report on Advertisement Effectiveness.
  • As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work alongside our product team, data scientists and other engineers to design and build complex data processing workflows. The role entails working with modern query engines and data orchestration tools to process large datasets while applying privacy and security best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with product and data science to clarify requirements and design processing flows. Collaborate in cross-functional teams to implement, test and deploy features. Implement efficient, scalable, robust data pipelines along with automated data validation. Identify potential process improvements and recommend suitable tools and changes to address them Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines in a distributed environment Develop and maintain good programming standards and practices across the ecosystem. Perform code reviews. Mentor and train junior developers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 5 - 8 years of professional engineering experience.5 Years with a mainstream programming language (Python, C++, C, Java, etc).
  • 4 years experience with SQL and advanced data systems (Spark, Presto, EMR).
  • 2 years of experience with public cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with popular relational database systems (Postgres, MySQL Mariadb).
  • Experience writing automated tests. Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with common developer tools (Git, Docker, Gitlab).Experience working in an agile environment. Excellent communication skills.
