Job Summary

The Associate Engineer, Test Process Development Engineering will support the standardization and optimization of laboratory operations across Test and Bench Labs in the Philippines and Thailand. The role focuses on process improvements, cost savings initiatives, and ensuring the effectiveness of lab procedures. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and implement processes that enhance operational efficiency, quality output, and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives, including standardization, simplification, and cost reduction projects•Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP), control plans, and work instructions•Manage internal and external customer audits and ensure customer requirements are met•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Test, Eval, and Apps Engineering, MFG, SCM, and IT) to document and implement lab processes•Drive projects that improve productivity, environmental performance, and process robustness•Analyze data and develop solutions to complex issues affecting lab operations•Maintain and enhance operational metrics, user interface tools, and reporting systems•Present findings and recommendations to senior management for further action

Qualifications

•Fresh graduate of BS/MS Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering with a strong scholastic record•0-5 years of industry experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or related fields•Strong knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and engineering statistics•Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, capable of influencing and motivating diverse teams•Leadership potential demonstrated through university or extracurricular activities•Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, VBA) and a problem-solving mindset•Ability to develop resolutions for complex problems, lead process improvement projects, and work independently•Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders•Proactive with a focus on achieving the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and process innovation
