Data and BI Analyst

Phygrid, an Ombori company, is hiring a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining business dashboards and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple business areas, including marketing, sales, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data integration, ETL processes, and visualisation, with a focus on using modern tools compatible with our Macintosh-only environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business dashboards to monitor KPIs from various departments (marketing, sales, operations, etc.).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and refine business metrics aligned with business goals.
• Manage ETL processes to centralize data from various sources (Google marketing tools, NetSuite, CosmosDB, MongoDB, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Snowflake).
• Design and implement dashboards using Google Looker Studio and potentially Google Looker, for actionable insights.
• Ensure seamless data integration into Snowflake for centralised reporting.
• Maintain data quality and integrity, ensuring data pipelines and reports are up-to-date and accurate.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting to support decision making across teams.
• Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identify and prioritise business needs.

Requirements

Are you the right fit?

We're looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

• Strong knowledge of Google Looker Studio, Looker, and data modeling best practices.
• Extensive experience in ETL processes, including data migration and integration from diverse sources.
• Experience working with NetSuite data for analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Google marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
• Experience with data integration and ETL platforms (eg. Fivetran, Stitch would be beneficial)
• Knowledge of BI tools or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
• Experience in querying and managing databases (particularly CosmosDB, MongoDB, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Snowflake would be beneficial).
