- Build database provisioning and lifecycle automation
- Build production readiness frameworks
- Conduct system design reviews for fault tolerance scalability bottlenecks and sharding
- Define SLOs SLIs error budgets

- Develop backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies

- Drive MTTR and MTTD improvements
- Ensure relational NoSQL caching and streaming reliability

- Implement access controls encryption and audit logging
- Implement cross region replication and failover
- Lead incident response and blameless RCAs
- Optimize performance and cloud cost efficiency
- Own service availability latency scalability durability
- Plan capacity and manage deployments rollbacks and changes
