The Data Annotation and Clinical AI Director is responsible for managing data labeling projects, resolving clinical data interpretation disputes, and ensuring quality in AI model development.

Key Responsibility:

  • Lead the project overseeing data labeling and annotation accuracy as well as other complex human-data intensive tasks.
  • As the clinical adjudicator, resolves disputes and discrepancies among clinical subject matter experts regarding clinical data and results in AI modeling.
  • Use extensive clinic experience to educate technical and non-technical cross-functional teams about the complex clinical aspects of the AI solutions, promoting their understanding and effective utilization.
  • Delivers critical insights and guidance to support model experience design and model development.
  • Use extensive clinic experience to educate technical and non-technical cross-functional teams about the complex clinical aspects of the AI solutions, promoting their understanding and effective utilization.
  • Advocates for the quality and clinical accuracy of AI solutions by collaborating with technical teams such as senior model development researchers, Product Leaders and AI UXR/UXD researchers. 
  • Anticipates potential challenges in representing clinical concepts in AI models and oversees solution creation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • RN Degree and valid current license.
  • 5+ years in Management such as Director of Nursing or Operations Management.
  • Healthcare informatics knowledge or equivalent technical skills/background.
  • 3+ years project management experience, including effectively managing teams and contract resources, delivering results that meet or exceed expectations on schedule.
  • Experience and familiarity in using PCC products.
  • Experience and familiarity with using data labeling tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly master new software, concepts, technologies and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, effectively manage, and drive consensus among other SMEs of varying specialties and levels of expertise.
  • Ability to collaborate and to communicate effectively across functions and levels with internal and external customers, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail.
