Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact and tangible financial results.

Join us as a Senior Manager, Data Solutions and Analytics and play an instrumental role in steering our Data strategy and delivery of data projects with Visa clients. You will translate analytical insights and used cases into captivating narratives tailored for our clients and stakeholders while offering valuable data advice to support business growth.

What a Manager, Data Consultant does at Visa:

• Identify new client opportunities by collaborating with market and regional teams.

• Develop data narratives, case studies and play back results to internal teams across the AP region.

• Grow Presence of Data Science projects with Visa clients across the region.

• Lead Commercialization activities for client data projects across the region.

• Coordinate Data Science initiatives across market and regional accounts.

• Coordinate with client data projects delivery team and project governance.

• Work closely with our different functional practice initiatives and account planning sessions.

This role will be vital in the growth of our Data as a Service business across Asia Pacific. The role will help to scale, diversify and transform our Managed Services Data capabilities which will support Visa’s business in the region. You will evolve our Data Services to drive uptake and delivery of Data projects. You will own key internal and external stakeholder relationships with Visa teams and our vendors as well as supporting our clients.

Projects you will be a part of:

This role will play a critical role in developing compelling stories from data to drive client actions and optimize portfolio performance. You will be working closely with teams across different regions to build new solutions and ideate approaches for various markets.

Qualifications

What you will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in an analytical field such as computer science, data engineering, data science, econometrics, or related fields.
• At least 8 years of work experience in a data related role with an emphasis on solution sales
• A minimum of two years’ work experience in a consulting role, specifically with a background in financial industry.
• Extensive proficiency in data science techniques, usage of programming languages such as Python, Spark, Hadoop/Hive for model development, and data processing.
• A proven track record demonstrating an ability to manipulate, process, and extract value from extensive datasets at scale.
• Striking communication skills, showcasing an ability to translate complex technical data into compelling narratives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex models into compelling narratives. Proficient in using PowerPoint for presentations.

What will also help:

Ideally worked in a partnerships or business development roles.
Experience in campaign management, implementation and measurement is a plus.
Solid evidence of experience in managing, analyzing, and implementing insights from large datasets.
Demonstrable expertise in a customer-facing, advisory role, with a focus on creating effective data strategies.
