Reporting Analyst

Job Duties & Responsibilities 

• Effectively gather report requirements using leading edge business analysis practices
• Leverage diverse software tools for the efficient, timely delivery of and reports for external and internal customers (i.e., SQL, Power Query, Excel, Tableau, R, Python, etc.)
• Serve as a subject matter expert on data pipeline development 
• Leverage ETL best practices and coding skills for reporting, analytics, KPIs and data mining (SQL stack).
• Design, maintain and deploy consumable, interactive dashboards for operational and management decision-making
• Exhibit a strong customer-centered mindset with anticipation to exceed analytics or reporting needs
• Support team accountability for promised deliverables, project progress, successes and failures
• Escalate issues and risks for customer impact from data challenges

Location  

This role is open to candidates working in Bengaluru, Ind (hybrid). 

Basic Qualifications   

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience 
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in business analytics, operations research, data analysis or related field 
• Proficient SQL query skills such as complex joins, sub-queries, grouping, aggregation, etc.
• Strong quantitative skills, including statistical concepts 
• Advanced Excel skills 
• Business Intelligence and Visualization tools like Tableau  
• Familiarity with tools like Jasper reports 
• Successful execution of problem solving and thinking analytically with a focus on end user report adoption 
• Demonstrated proficiency in making effective, well-reasoned decisions  
• Demonstrated proficiency in end user requirements gathering 
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams 
• Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems 
• Competencies: attention to detail, forward thinking, adaptability & time management 

Preferred Qualifications  

• Advanced degree or relevant certifications. 

Physical and Mental Requirements  

• Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation 
• Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
