The Ford Motor Credit Company team helps put people behind the wheels of great Ford and Lincoln vehicles. As a Data Scientist in the Marketing and Sales Analytics team that resides within the GDI&A Credit Analytics team at Ford Credit, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming data into strategic insights that drive marketing and sales initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and deploy statistical models and AI/ML solutions that enhance the customer experience, optimize product offerings, and inform marketing campaigns. Your work will directly impact the way Ford Credit connects with customers and evolve its digital platforms.

What you'll do…

  • Develop, validate, and deploy statistical models and AI/ML solutions to drive marketing insights and strategies.
  • Collaborate with business partners to design and monitor experimental marketing strategies.
  • Build and present compelling data visualizations and reports for diverse stakeholders.
  • Innovate and improve marketing tools, including dashboards, automated reporting, and data mining solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and solution integrity throughout the analytical process.
  • Translate complex quantitative methods into actionable business insights for all levels of the organization.
     

You'll have…

  • Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Psychometrics, Behavioral Economics, Sociology, Experimental Design, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • 0-1 years' experience with statistical modeling techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, ANOVA) and tools such as Python, R, SAS.
  • 0-1 years' experience with cloud data platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven ability to manage and manipulate large datasets using SQL, Teradata, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and drive projects to successful completion.
     

Even better, you may have…

  • Experience with GCP services like BigQuery and AI Platform.
  • Robust programming skills in Python, SAS, or similar languages.
  • Prior experience in an analytics role within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, psychology, and marketing principles.
