Azure Data Engineer

For an international consulting company we're looking for an Azure Data Engineer. The company primarily operates in Scandinavian countries such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Poland. It connects highly skilled professionals with organizations in need of specialized project support. With a broad network of contractors and innovative solutions, the company helps its clients execute projects across various industries, from IT to the technology sector.

This position involves working in the Financial department for an automotive company, primarily remote (75%) from Wrocław (1 day at the office preferred), and is exclusively B2B.



Responsibilities:

• Our client build common data platform. One of the main goals is to migrate and re-disgn solutions from On-premises platform to the cloud in Azure.
  
• They provide interactive reports for customers to help them achive their goals.
  
• They focus a lot on data ingestion & replication to their common and shared platform in cloud.
  
• They aim to standardise our tools and reporting layer, so that they re-build current BI solutions from i.e. SAP platform to Azure.
  
• They develop data pipelines between vary applications i.e. Azure, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, MS Dynamics 365

Requirements

 

• Having higher education level within IT or similar fields are preferred
  
• At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering
  
• Cloud service platform expertise; preferably Azure and Databricks
  
• Databases (like MSSQL Server or Netezza) don’t have any secret for you
  
• Knowledge of at least three of these services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Power BI, Spark, Python, Mongo DB, Azure Functions
  
• You are comfortable working in a diverse, complex and fast-changing landscape of data sources
  
• You care about agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability, and responsible experimentation.
  
• Very good English skills both written and spoken are essential
