Job Description:

Customer Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with business owners to identify opportunities and serve as an ambassador for data modelling
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Work closely with cross functional teams of data scientists and business process owners to deliver cutting edge analytic solutions
  • Design and deliver enterprise analytic solutions for the businesses
  • Work in a highly interactive and team-oriented environment with Data Scientists and Visualization experts

Shareholder Accountabilities:

  • Work in a highly interactive, team-oriented environment with Data Scientists and Visualization experts
  • Ensure core Bank and source systems, data and metadata is appropriately managed to support business requirements / needs
  • Develop and/or design data solutions and conduct reviews of data models and outputs to validate and test quality of information / solutions

Employee/Team Accountabilities:

  • Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area and  keep current on emerging trends /developments and grow knowledge of the business, analytical tools and techniques
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet assigned timelines
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency
  • Establish effective relationships across multiple business and technology partners, program and project managers
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units

Breadth and Depth:

  •  Act as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialization
  • May serve as an escalation or process reference within field of specialty
  • Act an information resource for others in their own area
  • Solve complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, which may include consultation with numerous stakeholders
  • Focus on short to medium-term (weekly-monthly), non-routine specialized/ complex issues and/or escalated matters
  • Independently perform functions/activities from end to end
  • Generally reports to a Senior / Manager role

Experience and/or Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate (UG would suffice, STEM would be preferrable although not critical).
  • 2+ years relevant experience working in Python with projects focused on analytics preferably financial analytics.
  • UI design on Python primarily for scalable Dashboards. Projects saved on git that can be demonstrated during the technical round.
  • High level of comfort with Python UI development, analytics/visualization and some ML libraries like Streamlit, PySimpleGUI, Matplotlib, Scikit learn, XGBoost etc.
  • Basic skills in SAS coding preferred not critical. Basic knowledge of credit risk not critical. Basic understanding of statistics and economics for model development.
  • Presenting for Demo is a required softskill.
