Job Description

The Game Data Analyst will join the Game Design & Monetization team and contribute to all projects active in the studio by gathering the information required to address important user behavior-related queries for that team and other important internal stakeholders (game managers, producers, engineers, marketing, etc.) and by driving analysis aiming to improve performance and results of the games.

Besides descriptive statistics and metrics, team requests will also include user clustering analysis, modeling, and projections, and DA should be flexible and adapt to any new type of analysis requested.


DATA REPORTING

• Satisfy stakeholders data requests through in-house data mining tools.

• Deliver clean, accurate and understandable data visualization and dashboards.

• Provide on-going reporting and performance monitoring from multiple data sources.


ANALYSIS

• Analyze large, complex data sets about the behavior of millions of game players to address strategic and operational business questions

• Provide actionable recommendations and conclusions from mobile / game data to shape features, game economies and future product roadmaps

• Develop frameworks, models, and tools to ensure data influences decisions at all levels

• Present your findings to cross functional team members in a presentation setting

METRICS GENERATION AND QUALITY

• Review metrics generation and ensure quality and accurate delivery of such.

• Assistance on management and maintenance of tracking specs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Big Data

• Excellent SQL.

• Familiarity with BI tools (Looker, Tableau or Power BI).

• Proactive, resourceful.

• Fluent English level.

• At least Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant technical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering,…)

• Ability to communicate and present complex ideas to stakeholders.

• Videogames player

Bonus skills:

• Familiarity with SQL databases and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with designing and analyzing A/B tests.

• Understanding of advanced statistical methods.

• Basic Python knowledge (Pandas/Matplotlib/sklearn).

• 4+ years of experience with Big Data
