As a consultant at Orange Business, you’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and innovative data solutions. With a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the data domain and deep expertise in Azure and Databricks, you’ll be driving digital transformation and helping our clients achieve their business goals!

Your key areas of responsibility as a Data Engineer:

• Apply a data-driven, analytical approach to support business case development.
• Collaborate with clients and partners to design and implement data processing systems, data pipelines, and provide insightful analytics while ensuring data integrity.
• Contribute to the design and modeling of Data Warehouse solutions.
• Perform detailed data analysis and integrate data sources to ensure high levels of data quality and consistency.
• Develop and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines to meet business needs.
• Stay ahead of the curve by applying the latest advancements and trends in data engineering to your projects.

As our ideal candidate, you bring:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a data engineer with demonstrated success in data-related projects.
• A strong passion for and expertise in data manipulation, including storage, transformation, and pipeline development.
• The ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into practical, effective data solutions.
• Experience in database structuring and design.
• Knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in Azure and Databricks.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
