Two Six Technologies is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team. If you have a desire to join a team of cutting-edge researchers and developers on embedded devices for security applications, let’s talk!

Responsibilities Include:

• Maturing proof-of-concept R&D technology to operational fieldable solutions
• Developing APIs and other interfaces bridging the software/hardware technology overlap
• Support of scalable and modular design methodology
• Engaging in technical exchanges with transition partners and key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Familiar with a modern programming language (C/C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Familiar with the software development life cycle and version control.
• Must have experience or coursework with at least ONE of the following:
• Computer architecture, digital design
• Large scale data processing, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Cassandra
• Software design/development/maintenance
• Database design
• Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration and communication
• Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Spring, GitHub

Clearance/Citizenship:

• Ability to obtain a government clearance.
