Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements.
• Assess the business impact of potential changes and provide data-driven insights.
• Develop and implement data models and algorithms to address business challenges.
• Utilize statistical methods to analyze large datasets and extract valuable insights.
• Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to understand and validate data sources.
• Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems.
• Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Elaborate design documentation based on information gathered and confirmed requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Experience in database interrogation and analysis tools, such as Apache Hadoop, SQL and SAS 
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively.
• Proven experience with statistical concepts and data preprocessing techniques.
• Proactive with the ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to work.
• Knowledge of insurance business principles is an advantage.
• Fluency in English
