Oracle is a technology leader that’s changing how the world does business – and our Customer Success Services (CSS) team supports over 6,000 companies around the world. We’re looking for an experienced and self-motivated engineer to work on customer premises in the Netherlands area as our Database and Engineered Systems Specialist. Join the team of highly skilled technical experts who build and maintain our clients’ technical landscapes through tailored support services.

What you will do

Become our customers’ trusted technical advisor and develop a deep knowledge of their systems and needs. You’ll support the operation of customer platforms onsite and in cloud, delivering services that drive customer success an innovation.

• Provide production operation support for DB & ES and Cloud systems
• Support the stability, availability, and performance of critical business systems
• Install, configure, and operate Database, Exadata and other Oracle Infrastructure Platform products
• Deliver solution architecture advice, reviews, and conceptual support 
• Analyze product problems to find resolutions
• Resolve new and complex issues, research technical enquiries, and handle user problems 
• Support software installation, configuration, health checks, and performance assessments
• Educate customers on product features, issues, evolutions, upgrades, benefits, and patches
