About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics and Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving strategic decisions related to the development and implementation of CF’s technology solutions, while leading our Data Innovation (DI) team to deliver high-quality analysis and outputs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise and project management skills, with the ability to manage relationships with senior client stakeholders and external partners. In the role of Data Analytics and Operations Manager, we are looking for you to:

  • Make strategic decisions around the development and implementation of CF’s technology solutions.
  • Lead the DI team, providing technical mentorship to ensure technical progression.
  • Quality assure the analysis, code, and outputs of the DI team.
  • Manage data operations business risks (data storage, access, etc).
  • Maintain the existing data pipeline and cloud infrastructure, supporting SQL queries and the Data Access Request Service (DARS) NHSE contract.
  • Own the maintenance and ongoing development of CF’s Data Innovation tools.
  • Manage and update algorithms used within existing tools, ensuring their relevance and accuracy.
  • Understand product management concepts and have a strong awareness of customer-focused approaches, including the rituals, typical issues, and mitigation strategies involved in building and deploying products.
  • Analyse complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and trends, supporting decision-making across departments.
  • Engage in business development by building and maintaining relationships with external partners and senior client stakeholders and supporting the technical solutions within bids.

Requirements

To be successful in this role we are looking for a combination of the following skills and experiences:

  • Strong technical skills, including experience with databases, SQL, and Python
  • Ability to QA the work of self and others
  • A background in Data Analytics and Data Science
  • Experience delivering and implementing technology solutions from end to end
  • Ability to bridge commerciality with data, being able to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholder
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to data privacy and security

Flexible working

We embrace a hybrid working model, combining the best of remote and in-person collaboration. Our consulting team are together in person at least four days a week with flexibility to be in the office between our core hours of 10-4pm. Our default approach is to be in-person with our clients.

In addition, up to four weeks a year each member of staff can work entirely virtually.
