We are seeking an experienced Data Management & Data Quality Manager to join our Data Governance & Strategy cluster and will be reporting directly to our Data Management & Quality Chapter Lead.

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Design and Implement Data Management Strategies: Develop and deploy comprehensive data management strategies, including data governance frameworks and quality assurance protocols.
  • Metadata Modelling: Create and manage metadata models that support our data governance strategy and our data platform operational needs.
  • Data Quality Management: Implement data quality frameworks, perform data profiling, and establish quality rules to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Data Migration and Integration: Oversee data migration projects, ensuring seamless integration of data from multiple sources and systems.
  • Tool Implementation: Implement and manage data management tools and platforms, such as Informatica, AWS, and others, to support data governance and quality initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and others.
  • Documentation and Training: Prepare comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions to ensure teams are self-sufficient in data management practices.

You bring 

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in data management and data quality roles, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Extensive experience with data management and quality tools, including data lineage, profiling, cataloging, and metadata management solutions (e.g., Informatica).
  • Proven ability to establish and enforce data quality standards and processes. In-depth knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS) and ensuring compliance in data management practices.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), DAMA certification is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record in facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops. Experience conducting data audits to identify and address areas for improvement.
  • Skilled in implementing data quality frameworks and processes to monitor, assess, and enhance data quality. Experience with cloud platforms, SaaS, and microservices (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
