Process Overview

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.

Global Markets Trade Horizontals – Trade Surveillance technology builds the technology products and algorithms required for predicting Market conduct - manipulative & deceptive trading practices across products or market.

Job Description

·         Must be hands on Python (or similar object oriented / functional language).   Python experience will be advantage.  

·         Experience in Data warehousing, ETL, data science using Python would be advantageous.

·         Experience of message oriented middleware (AMPS/RabbitMQ/ZMQ etc).  Technique is more important than technology used.  

·         Experience of object(noSQL) db and understanding of other Databases (relational, hdfs etc.)  

·         Experience in REST/WebSocket.  Hands on in full stack components, will be plus.  

·         Excellent grip on debugging and problem solving techniques.  

·         Good Understanding of agile development process, habit of its application on daily routine.  

·         Must be able to communicate effectively with IT colleagues and our business partners.  

·         Experience of financial products / transaction, particularly in Fixed Income. Optional but will be advantage. 

Responsibilities

A Senior Engineer is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the job include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery.

Requirements

Education-  BE IT/Computer engineering from Tier II college

Certifications If Any-

Experience Range-  6- 12 years

Foundational skills : Python with Object Oriented Programming

Desired skills : Python with Object Oriented Programming, Rates Trading business, Fixed income products.

Work Timings:  12:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Job Location: Hyderabad/Mumbai.
