Position Overview:

Novelis in Atlanta is having an opportunity to participate in our on-site summer 2025 internship. The team is seeking Power BI Intern that can join the team for approximately 12 weeks. Business Intelligence (BI) is heavily used and needed for the business leaders at Novelis to make strategic business decisions using the Data. Along with functional data, the Data Analytics Platform (DAP) needs the BI capabilities to develop analytics, KPIs, dashboards and reports to provide strategic insights to the business functions and achieve the Vision 3x30 goals. This role will build data reporting solutions using Power BI and supporting technologies.

Key Learnings:

• The Power BI Intern will learn the existing data models, developed by the Digital Team, and help creating the PBI reports and dashboards using these data models.
• The Power BI Intern will learn/understand the functional processes within Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Operations etc., and understand common data manipulation and transformation tasks.
• The Power BI Intern will understand software development lifecycle and work in a professional environment.
• The Power BI Intern will learn Databricks, Power BI and other tools that are used within Novelis’ Analytics ecosystem.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Either have completed Masters in Software Engineering or currently enrolled in a program
• A proficient understanding and creating Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Understanding of Agile development processes
• Experience in Collaborative and Iterative Development
• Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and time management skills
