AI Solution Architect (Cloud)

As an AI Solution Architect, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing AI solutions into our operations. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to successfully integrate AI technologies into business processes, drive innovation, and enhance operational efficiency. You will be hands-on in scoping, designing, building, and delivering our next-generation solutions.

The role is a key position in our new AI Center of Excellence team. The AI CoE is positioned within SKF Technology Development but will serve across the global organization, supporting different units on their journey and running development activities under our responsibility.

What you can expect in this role:

Architectural Design and Implementation:

• Design resilient, highly scalable, and cost-efficient architectures for AI solutions using Azure and AWS.
• Follow a product from specification to delivery, acting as a bridge between business and development teams.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure we minimize technical depth and deliver solutions at a steady and reliable pace.
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into existing systems.

Innovation and Development:

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and cloud technologies and methodologies, ensuring we do not reinvent the wheel.
• Continuously optimize systems for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost.
• Actively participate in developing AI solutions, contributing to solution- and software design, hands-on coding, release pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers within and outside the department to ensure high-quality code and efficient development processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment.

We expect you to have

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in delivering AI-based solutions in production.
• Extensive experience in cloud development with Azure and AWS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or Typescript.
• Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure ML, and AWS Sagemaker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools like GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, and Databricks Serving.
• Familiarity with data solutions such as Databricks, Snowflake, and other platforms.
