 SAP Master Data Specialist with German

As a member of the General Ledger team you will be responsible for SAP Master Data for SIX Group entities in Switzerland and international locations. Creating, maintenance and ensuring data quality in SAP Master Data will be an important pillar of your work. Additionally, you will support in projects with regard to process improvement and automatization within the SAP Master Data area and contribute to ad-hoc tasks. 

You will be embedded in an international team and interact with different departments. You should have a keen eye for accuracy, a good accounting understanding and bring initiative and hands-on qualities to be able to challenge our processes and requirements. 

SIX offers a hybrid-working model that combines the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. We ask that team members join us in the office in Warsaw at least two days a week to foster teamwork and innovation.

 

 

What You Will Do 

• create and maintain master data (controlling, general ledger, customer and vendor data) in SAP
• identify improvement and automatization opportunities in the Master Data area and support in such initiatives
• keep master data process documentation up to date and provide training to other team members or locations
• contribute to ad-hoc tasks and projects (e.g. participate in testing and development of new tools)

 

What You Bring

• education in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• experience in creating and maintaining Master Data in SAP 
• high attention to detail and excellent data analysis skills
• strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset for a cross-team collaboration
• very good verbal and written skills in English, German is a strong advantage
