Job Description

A Data Visualization Manager is responsible for consolidating data from various sources into one centralized platform and designing visually appealing and intuitive dashboards, providing a holisitc view of the business and enabling stakeholders to access relevant information quickly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Integration

  • Prepare business requirements mapping required for dashboarding and insighting on new and change requirements

Dashboard Development and Maintenance

  • Builds dashboards, optimize scripts and orchestrate data transformations in collaboration with Data Architects and analysts to ensure seamless integration with various data sources (i.e. databases, APIs, spreadsheets)

  • Leverages data visualization best practices and techniques to represent complex data in a clear concise meaningful way, using charts, graphs, maps and other visual elements

  • Manage and ensure timely and regular production and update of dashboards – depending on agreed frequency, timing SLAs and manage dashboard versioning, update and change process

  • Govern and ensure that production dashboard scripts are closed

User Experience Design

  • Lead development of approved layout and views via the Visualization Tool that are easy to navigate, responsive and accessible across different devices and platforms

  • Optimize performance of the dashboard to ensure fast loading times and smooth interaction, even with large datasets

Ad-hoc reports, Customer Profiling, Extraction Requests (non-Campaign)

  • Manage Data Mining & Extraction request, approval and release process – in collaboration with Data Governance team

  • Enable Adhoc and Regular MIS requiring Simple Customer Profiling, Numbers scoping and business monitoring

  • Automation of regular profiling and cohort analyses – to support Data Storytelling team churn out insights faster

  • Lead progression from doing simple run-rate in Business forecasting to developing statistical and scientific business forecasting models with the aim to forecast pertinent business metrics / KPIs with a +/-5% error/variance tolerance 

Stakeholder Management and Knowledge Transfer 

  • Train and support end-users on how to use the dashboard effectively, interpret visualizations and extract insights to inform decision making

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3-5 years experience in and Analytics

  • Strong Data management and Analytics skills 

  • Understanding of end-to-end Data Science practice (i.e. Maching Learning)

  • Programming expertise on the following languages: SQL, Open Sources (Python, R)

  • UX and design thinking (including Gen AI skillsets)

  • Soft Skills: Proactive, Strong communication and interpersonal skills Analytical and detail-oriented

  • Hard Skills: UX principles, Gen AI skills, Dashboard creation, Data visualization

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Math, IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or any related field
