Associate Director, Data and AI

The Data and AI Practice within BGSW comprises of three distinctive sub-practices with Global P&L responsibilities:

1. AI/ML Services and software Platform development on MLOps, Responsible AI and their GTM forays for Bosch Group and Its customers
2. AI/ML offerings to Global Clientele in Service-Delivery model ( in the areas of AI/ML, GenAI, MLoPS, Responsible AI, AI for Digital Twin , AI for SAP, Hyper Automation and Conversational AI )
3. Bring in Innovative end-to-end business solutions using advanced Data Science techniques, to unlock previously unknown, but meaningful, business relationships allowing clients to significantly improve profitability through more informed insights.

The BGSW Data and AI Practice directly reports to Vice President for MultiMarket and Tech Horizontal and will lead the entire Software offerings ( AI/ML, GenAI, MLoPS, Responsible AI, AI for Digital Twin , AI for SAP, Hyper Automation and Conversational AI ) to Global and Bosch captive Clientele in Service-Delivery model.

Job Description

• Business Management: Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients. Engage with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Develop customized solutions or proposals to address their specific requirements.
• Business development: Closely together with sales function across target geographies to Identify business potential and to stitch solution proposals leading to new business acquisitions. Will be responsible to grow business towards achieving the set targets.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team and support their professional development. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet customer expectations and project requirements. Implement quality assurance processes, conduct regular reviews, and address any quality issues or deviations.
• Work with C-Level executives to define and understand business goals, strategies, capabilities, processes and help shape and define business and technology transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors / Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with an MBA
2. 18+ years’ experience in leading Engineering IT teams
3. Strong delivery management experience with PMP certification
4. Experience working in complex, ambiguous environments with cross-functional teams
5. Proven experience in productionizing AI/ML/NLP/CV projects
6. Willingness to keep up to date with latest industry tech trends on AI/ML and other niche technologies. Research mindset to understand upcoming trends and technologies and challenge the status quo.
7. Providing thought leadership to develop and productionalize new operating model for the services of  AI/ML, GenAI, MLoPS, Responsible AI, AI for Digital Twin , AI for SAP, Hyper Automation and Conversational AI .
8. Possess strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills - defend ideas with objectivity (drives issue resolution)
9. Strong written, verbal and communication skills including business writing & presentation
10. Preferred: International exposure (USA, Europe)
