As a Senior Finance Data Analyst at Tenstorrent, you will play a pivotal role in providing data-driven insights to inform our financial strategies and decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, develop forecasts, and create actionable recommendations to drive our continued success.

This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to gather, clean, and analyze financial data.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and create dashboards and reports to track financial performance and trends.
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide insights into drivers of financial results.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the impact of different business strategies and initiatives on financial outcomes.
  • Support the development of long-term financial plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and data analytics.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts as needed.

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or data analytics roles.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
  • Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Semiconductor or tech industry experience is a plus.

 

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
