About the Role


Sellers Dorsey is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst who will support the client servicing operations departments. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient processes, accurate reporting, and effective data management. This role will be heavily based in NetSuite, including reporting support, hours and revenue input and maintenance, data transfer, and data management. This role directly impacts Sellers Dorsey’s ability to effectively provide exceptional services to clients and ensures the integrity of business data that is critical to the firm’s internal and external (CCP/board) data analysis and reporting. This role will engage in coordination with internal departments—such as marketing, legal, and finance. This role will also actively support the launch and ongoing maintenance of an enhanced ERP system as well as conduct ad hoc operations analysis to support various internal business areas. This role will require superior analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and timeliness required to support our teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Weekly and monthly NetSuite reporting support. Generates, reviews, and distributes reports, validates data and ensures data accuracy.
  • Cyclical (monthly or quarterly) hours and revenue review with project teams. Gathers data, validates with project teams, conducts meetings to forecast future hours and revenue, and flags issues. Owns the data transfer to NetSuite or finance spreadsheets.
  • NetSuite data entry. Assists with the validation and input of data into NetSuite for deal, project, and client records.
  • Coordination with internal departments to manage data and processes. This includes interacting with marketing, legal, finance, and other client servicing operations departments.
  • ERP Support. Supports the launch and implementation of ERP enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of an enhanced ERP. 
  • Ad hoc operations analysis to support internal business areas. This includes supporting  the launch, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of business unit Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering/operations/logistics or a related field required. MBA Preferred.
  • 5+ years professional work experience in services operations planning, modeling, analysis, and metrics.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, mathematical skills, quantitative modeling skills and business analytics understanding/skills.
  • High-level proficiency with analytical systems/tools e.g., Excel and other Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Desired proficiency with ERP systems, with strong preference for NetSuite
  • Desired proficiency with data visualization tools, preferably PowerBI.

  • Ability to work well with others in teams and build relationships with staff throughout the firm, at multiple levels.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and graphical presentation/communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, managing multiple, complex projects at once.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time appropriately.
  • Flexibility to take on a wide range of projects.


Compensation & Benefits 


The anticipated salary range for candidates is $79,200/year in our lowest geographic market range to up to $105,000/year in our highest geographic market range. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, the candidate’s education, and the candidate’s market location. Typically, candidates are not hired near the top of the range and compensation decisions are made based upon Sellers Dorsey’s Total Compensation Policies & Guidelines. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in our annual Corporate Incentive Plan (CIP) that can range to up to X% of annual salary. 


Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, the successful candidate (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, and vision and for insurance plans offering short term disability, long term disability, and basic life. Employees are also able to enroll in Sellers Dorsey’s 401k plan provided they meet plan requirements.  Sellers Dorsey offers a Flexible Time Off that allows employees to use what they need. Additionally, we offer 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, paid time off for qualifying medical leave, and up to 12 weeks of combined paid parental and bonding leave. The foregoing benefits and paid time off, including an employee’s eligibility therefore, will be controlled by applicable plan documents and Sellers Dorsey policy.
