Accertify seeks a highly skilled, energetic engineer who can help shape the company's technology and product roadmap. The role involves processing data required for model development and other data requirements from the Decision Sciences team. As an Engineer at Accertify, you will work with core data, InAuth data, and data related to Accertify Digital Identity, among other use cases. The ideal candidate will have a software development background and strong analytical skills to help build and enhance Accertify's industry-leading tools by working with large datasets. The day-to-day work will involve developing production-ready codebases in Python, analyzing data using SQL, Spark (Scala/PySpark), and designing and building fast, scalable, and flexible software solutions.
Responsibilities:

• Build ETL pipelines using structured data (RDBMS) and unstructured data (JSON, Graph) to ingest, cleanse, transform, and route data from one source to another
• Ability to work with big data sets and strong understanding of Hadoop distributed frameworks such as MapReduce, Spark, HBase
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures to optimize resource utilization of ETL pipelines
• Ability to build Data APIs is a plus
• Understanding of Machine Learning & Data Science work to help deliver data requests to DS teams
• Partner closely with modeling teams in building incremental intelligence, with a strong emphasis on maintaining globalization and standardization of attribute calculations across use cases
• Define and manage Data quality control measures
• Partner with Tech teams in designing and building next generation data quality controls.
• Partner with Accertify colleagues to implement models & develop Capabilities that will help in more optimal decisions and drive revenue

Qualifications Required:
1+ years with relevant experience in data engineering, processing, and analysis roles
Language Skills needed:
•           Python
•           Spark (Scala and/or Python APIs)
•           SQL
•           Unix Shell scripting
•           Java (preferred)

Academic Background:
BE/BTech in Computer Science/Information Technology
Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning algorithms would be a plus
