Data Analyst Sustainability (m/f/d)

Together, we as the "Safety" team ensure compliance with all applicable legal regulations and voluntary commitments. RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the Sustainability Services team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting data related to BASF's sustainability efforts.

• You work closely with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop actionable insights that drive our sustainability strategy.
• You collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources such as SAP systems and others.
• Furthermore, you develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sustainability metrics.
• Additionally, you present findings and insights to stakeholders from different departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master or Bachelor in Computer Science, preferably in combination with chemistry or biology
• ability to understand complex contents and translate between different disciplines, such as regulatory, sustainability and digital o programming skills in SQL, Python, R advantageous
• knowledge about Data Processing Platforms Hadoop and Apache Spark advantageous
• experience with visualization and dashboards, e.g. Power BI
• excellent communication skills in English, good German is a plus
