Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of Data and AI strategies and roadmaps, aligning technology solutions with business goals and objectives.
  • Design and architect advanced Azure solutions, integrating various Data and AI technologies to meet complex project requirements and drive innovation.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring best practices in Data and AI solution development and deployment.
  • Oversee the integration of Data and AI solutions with existing systems and processes, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow.
  • Design and implement data architectures that support AI solutions, leveraging advanced database systems and ensuring data quality and security.
  • Partner with Project Managers to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the organization.
  • Collaborate with peers to architect and implement Azure solutions that meet defined customer business objectives.
  • Assist with the development or improvement of deployment solution architecture and standards.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • At least 7 years of experience in a technical environment (Azure preferred), with a minimum of 3 years in Azure solution development and architecture.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in architecting and implementing Azure data technologies, such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB/Postgres database systems and Azure Databricks.
    • Knowledge in AI technologies, including Azure AI Services and OpenAI models.
    • Skills in Python programming, with experience in designing and implementing Data and AI solutions.
    • Advanced knowledge of data management concepts, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lake design.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative AI solutions.
  • Solution Consulting: Strong knowledge and experience in working with customers in a consultive approach in a technical environment.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Azure networking and security requirements.
  • Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning Studio and Cognitive Services.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results on time.
