Purpose of Role 

• Supply the design and development of visual analytics solutions in line with data viz architecture standards. 

• Formulate high-level understanding of design principles, such as performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability and reliability upon deployment. 

• Pro-actively implement designstandard methodologiess and challenge user-requirements. 

• Formulate high-level understanding of overall data transformation process within the data model consistency to architecture, coding, UX design and documentation standards 

• Ability to work on backlog items alone and good measure to involve senior colleagues when important 

Top 3-5 Accountabilities 

• Build BI solutions applying existing architecture standards (coding, CI/CD, documentation…) 

• Work in Azure DevOps: estimate delivery time of backlog items assigned to her and ensure timely and quality delivery. Be able to call out when stuck. 

• Support migration activities: release management, version control, documentation 

• Follow data governance, security, architecture, coding & documentation standards 

• BAU support: carry out tasks assigned by Product Architect for incident management and maintenance activities. 

The job holder may be directed by their immediate outstanding to perform all tasks directly or indirectly related, additional or supplementary to the scope of duties defined in this role profile. 

Qualifications and Experience:

Required: 

• 2+ years of dedicated experience in development of BI solutions 

• Bachelor’s or preferably Master’s degree in Computer Sciences / Engineering / Economics / Statistics 

• Strong analytical skills – Ability to perform complex analysis, as well as to resolve analysis required to handle business problems 

• Knowledge of DAX & M language (Power query) within Power BI models 

• Understanding of Data Platform concepts (Data Lake, DWH, Delta Lake) 

• Hands-on working experience with PowerBI to author queries, datasets, visuals & reports 

• Understanding of CI/CD principles and standard methodologies 

• Provable experience in neat user documentation 

• Open and willing to deepen developer skills and embed other technologies 

• Flexible, upbeat personality who works well affiliate/collaborating in a matrixed team environment 

• Intermediate level of written and spoken English 

• Need to acquire PL300 and DP203 certificates in 12 months' time 

Advantage:

• Experience with the following: Tabular Editor, Master Models and Perspectives, Bravo, Dax Studio, Vertipaq Analyiser,  

• Experience with Agile and SAFe methodologies 

• Probvablecurrency in user experience and visualization standard methodologies and evolving trends, technologies, and techniques. 

• Exposure to Git, ADO 

• Experience in more visualization tools – preferably Qlik
