Join our team as a Clinical Research Analyst, supporting groundbreaking research in Thoracic Oncology. You will collaborate closely with the Chief of Thoracic Oncology and the Clinical Research Program Manager, focusing on data analysis and clinical research support. Key responsibilities include designing data abstraction forms, managing databases, conducting biostatistical analyses, and preparing results for scientific presentations, manuscripts, and grant applications. A strong foundation in scientific methodologies and programming for clinical data analysis is essential. Be part of a dynamic team making an impact in cancer research!


Salary: $32.95 - $67.53 hourly

Required:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical medicine, specifically oncology
  • Demonstrated data analysis and biostatistical skills and experience
  • Knowledge of basic and multivariate statistical techniques
  • Competency in computer or statistical software applications (e.g., R, MATLAB, SAS, STATA) to conduct statistical tests and generate figures and tables
  • Demonstrated data management skills
  • Ability to run data queries, extract data and organize large databases
  • Ability to establish and maintain accurate records and data entry
  • Ability to prepare data and summarize analyses and results for publication and grant applications
  • Ability to conceptualize and construct tables, graphs, and figures for manuscript publication
  • Demonstrated skills in scientific writing and experience preparing peer-reviewed scientific journal publications
  • A Master’s Degree related to biomedical sciences, biostatistical or computational sciences or similar, or a combination of equivalent education, training and experience
