Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with course coordinators to prepare the necessary environment for the lab sessions or assessment.

• Ensure availability of technical manuals / specifications as and when needed.

• Conduct regular inspection on equipment to ensure readiness of teaching resources and equipment.

• Assist in preparation of computer images for virtualization streaming to lab PCs.

• Support lab supervisors in conducting quiz session or assessment

• Ensure quick response to equipment failure by diagnosing and troubleshooting the fault.

• Manage and maintain lab assets by ensuring proper recording of lab equipment.

• Support the purchase of lab equipment

• Ensure equipment’s upgrade to support lab curriculum.

• Proactively manage daily lab operations and workplace safety in compliance with NTU guidelines.

Job Requirements

• Min. a Diploma with 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution.

• Knowledge in writing and debugging codes in C++, Python, JavaScript and others

• Knowledge in managing and creating Database,

• Administrating LAN environment linking to estimated 400 units of computers

• Good teamworking skills

• Proficient in time management

• IT savvy, proficient in MS Office applications

• Meticulous and organized, with the ability to multi-task

• Proactive, analytical and resourceful

• Ability to work in a team

• Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills

• Good sense of initiative and responsibility and positive working attitude

• Tactful and able to demonstrate empathy whenever necessary
