About this opportunity
 

ADC is crucial in developing and delivering both the Operation service lines and the broader Operations strategies,  driving the move to “Automated Operations built on Nordic scale”. We play a key role in delivering improved customer experience and operational efficiency enabled by an e2e view of the banks services and processes. 

What you will be doing:

  • Data Management:
    • Develop and Manage Provide system (performance data platform for operations employees in Nordea).
    • Ensure key features implementation and utilization such as capacity production planning and efficiency measurements in Provide.
    • Develop and maintain data management policies and procedures in connection with process management, and process health monitoring.
    • Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless data integration and system functionality.
    • Provide training and support to staff on data management and reporting tools.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of new data management systems and technologies.
    • Oversee the collection, storage, and maintenance of operational data.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data validation processes.
  • Reporting:
    • Connecting dots through multiple ADC strategic workstreams to reuse existing data for multiple reporting purposes and make sense in delivering unified solutions in Nordic scale. 
    • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
    • Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve operational efficiency.
    • Prepare visualizations and dashboards to present data in an accessible and actionable format.
    • Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide management reporting solutions.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data management, development and reporting specialists.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
    • Set goals for team and team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.

 

The position is a great opportunity to join an exciting area of the bank, to truly understand the machinery, and play a key role in the ongoing business change agenda in Operations and beyond. The role will be based in one of Lodz, Gdansk, Helsinki, Tallin or Stockholm.

Your experience and background:  

  • You have a structured approach, be well organised and great at planning and prioritising.
  • You have earlier experience in data management and have earlier experiences in delivering data reporting to senior management.
  • Solid experiences and interest in financial services, delivering operational efficiencies and digitalisation solutions.
  • Your previous leadership experience in financial industry is a plus.
  • A good understanding of change/transformation programmes and project delivery.
  • Solid business acumen in the banking context.
  • The ability to find answers by confidently reaching out to stakeholders including senior executives.
  • Have the courage to escalate when needed and resolve issues in great manner.
  • Strong communication skills & analytical ability and a proactive approach.
  • Fluent proficiency in English.
