Data Analytics & Automation Sr. Consultant

As the Data Analytics and Automation Senior Consultant you will be responsible for assisting with the data analytics and automation support to the Department of Homeland Security. Duties include but are not limited to developing and applying individualized approaches for problem solving in the data analytics and automation in support of management, information technology, finance and accounting, auditing, cost estimating, and risk analysis. You'll also assist with the development, operation, and maintenance of automated solutions and assist process owners with identifying effective solutions and developing those solutions into appropriate level project milestones, track action items from remediation meetings, and provide status information and reports to proactively identify remediation challenges and status reports to executive leadership.

Required Skills/Experience

• Bachelor of Science or Arts Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or applicable related field or Certified Public Accountant. 
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics and automation relative to management, information technology, finance and accounting, auditing, cost estimating, risk analysis.
• Currently hold, or able to obtain and maintain, DHS fitness determination

Desired Skills/Experience

• CPA or MBA 
• Be familiar with one or more of the following tools:  UiPath Studio, Microsoft Power Automate, Diligent Audit Command Language (ACL)

Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.  We carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to experience; job-related skill sets; relevant education or training; and other business and organizational needs. The salary range listed is for the level at which this job has been scoped. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply.
