Data Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build a state-of-the-art data infrastructure from the ground up using modern technologies. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about data and analytics, with a proven track record in data strategy, architecture, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy and architecture for our fintech platform and analytics.
• Design and construct scalable data platforms and pipelines to accommodate our expanding business requirements.
• Implement ETL data flows and pipelines to ensure seamless data integration.
• Utilize contemporary data architecture patterns such as Data Fabric, Data Mesh, and MicroServices to enhance flexibility and scalability. And understanding of advantages and disadvantages of each pattern adopting to current and future context of the organization and its infrastructureCollaborate closely with business leaders to identify data opportunities and facilitate insights-driven decision-making.
• Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business objectives.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in data and analytics, continuously seeking avenues for innovation and enhancement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Sciences, IT, Computer Sciences, Statistics, or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in data strategy, data architecture, or related roles, with a focus on the fintech sector.
• Proven expertise within several fields and capability to gain necessary competence in a new one: data strategy, modern data platform architecture, data modeling, data governance, Business Intelligence, Big Data, reporting & data warehousing, AI, and Machine Learning.
• Strong understanding of data architecture patterns, data modeling techniques, and data governance principles especially Data Mesh and proven experience of implementing solution based on these principles.
• Proficiency with ETL tools and data integration platforms.
• Familiarity with Oracle, Postgres, Aurora, Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Kafka, etc.), Elastic stack, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB, DynamoDB etc.).
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their adoption above the data infrastructure including challenges and pros and cons for different AI platforms/technologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and underlying technologies like k8s, docker, istio, etc. 
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
