TEAMThe Core ADAS Advanced UX team works on Lv2 to Lv4 automated driving technologies, including Lv2 advanced driver assistance interaction design (driving and parking assistance), UX design for Lv4 automated driving mobility, and UX research for these products. You will work with our team including project managers, interaction designers, UI designers, 3D designers, 3D engineers, and UX researchers. We value teamwork and transparency as we collaborate daily with colleagues and partners from multiple regions and backgrounds.

A collaborative team player who educates non-researchers on the value of data-driven decision-making and works with fellow researchers to establish standards that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement collaborative research studies using methods from computer science, quantitative social science, statistics, econometrics, and more to investigate user behavior and define metrics for measuring user experience.
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers, UX Designers, Product Owners, and Engineers to establish capabilities that maximize the benefits of Quantitative UX Research.
  • Translate research insights into compelling narratives that inspire solutions and guide major design decisions.
  • Come to the office 3 days per week per our hybrid work policy and report to the manager in charge of Mobility Human Factor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in a UX Research role.
  • Proficiency in a programming language used for data manipulation and computational statistics (such as Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go) along with SQL.
  • Experience with descriptive statistics and basic inferential techniques, including t-tests and ANOVA.
  • Proficient in data visualization techniques and tools.

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Master’s degree (in progress or completed) in Anthropology, Psychology, Human Factors, Statistics, Human-Computer Interaction, Design Research, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years experience as a Quantitative UX Researcher or in a similar role.
  • Experience in the automotive or transportation industry.
  • Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools.
  • Expertise in survey design.
  • Experience applying Machine Learning methods to UX Research processes.
